DAVE LOMBARDO, SAMANTHA MALONEY Added To 'Bonzo: The Groove Remains The Same: A Double Encore!

Canadian blues rock singing sensation Sass Jordan, SLAYER's Dave Lombardo, former HOLE/MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Samantha Maloney and world-renowned drummer Jojo Mayer have been added to the lineup of musicians taking part in "Bonzo: The Groove Remains The Same: A Double Encore!", which will take place on Wednesday, January 12 at the Key Club in West Hollywood, California and on Thursday, January 13 at the Galaxy Theater in Anaheim, California.

Due to the overwhelming success and positive feedback from the audience and drummers at the first "Bonzo: The Groove Remains The Same" John Bonham tribute show on September 25, 2010, Brian Tichy and Joe Sutton agreed to look into doing it again. The problem was Tichy would be on tour this year with WHITESNAKE for most of 2011 into 2012. The only way to go for it again was to have the show sooner than later. And while looking into this, two back-to-back dates came up! The drummers all agreed two shows are better than one. Most of the drummers are back as well.

Commented Tichy: "Hey, we all had a great night! It was a huge success and we wanted to do it again. The time and energy that was put into the show made it all the more easy to set back up and hit again! We have the Amber Vistalite drumkit and three-ring-logo backdrop, so why let it collect dust! It's all about tributing to rock's greatest drummer, John Henry Bonham. That is a timeless endeavor! The communal spirit of the rehearsals and show bonded us and solidified the common reasons why we all chose drumming as a way of life. Yeah! Plus, LED ZEPPELIN is the best, there are lots of people that wanted to see it but couldn't, and there's never anything wrong with giving it up to John Bonham! Legendary disc jockey, KLOS's own Uncle Joe Benson is also back hosting both nights!"
